Neil Robertson has lost in the first round four times since 2011 and could of been handed an easier opener than the unpredictable but mega talented Liang Wenbo. Wenbo hasn’t had much success here either since a debut Quarter-final in 2008; he’s won just once since in five appearances so something has got to give here.
I seriously hate predicting which Liang will turn up. The amount of times he’s beaten me when I’ve tipped against him or he’s lost when I’ve tipped him, is untrue so I tend to avoid him like the proverbial plague. At least we have a better idea which Robertson will arrive in Sheffield (not his biggest hunting ground though) as he’s far more reliable and consistent.
