Weekend German Football Tips: My Five Best Bundesliga Bets – 30/08/2019

Monchengladbach vs RB Leipzig – BTTS Yes @ 1.57

Both teams have been amongst the goals and I’m expecting that to continue in what looks like a great top six clash. Leipzig have looked very impressive so far this season and away from home they’ll definitely cause Monchengladbach problems.

At home, I’m also expecting Monchengladbach to have spells of dominance and if last season’s averages are anything to go by, this would should be full of goals. Getting Both Teams to Score @ 1.57 looks like a good price considering both teams great offenses and shaky defences.

Frankfurt Win @ 1.66

They haven’t started the season in the same fashion as last, but that was to be expected with notable departures in both Sebastien Haller & Luka Jovic. However, after a rather do or die match against Strasbourg in the Europa League this Thursday, I’m expecting them to come out on Sunday and throw the kitchen sink at Dusseldorf.

Dusseldorf were completely brushed aside by Leverkusen last week and travelling to Frankfurt should hold a similar result. Frankfurt’s first match was a routine victory over Hoffenheim at home and they’ll be looking to make the Commerzbank-Arena a fortress. You can get Frankfurt to Win @ 1.66 and if their impressive attack is firing on all cylinders, this could be an easy victory.

Dortmund Win & Over 2.5 Goals @ 1.66

Lucien Favre’s men have looked great so far this season and I’m expecting that to continue in a dominant matter against newly-promoted Union Berlin. Scoring 8 goals in their first two Bundesliga matches however, quite incredibly they’ve come from behind in both matches after conceding early goals.

The defensive frailties were definitely on show for Union Berlin against quality opposition when they were ripped apart by RB Leipzig in their first match at home. With Dortmund’s impressive attack on show already this season, you’d be expecting more of the same on Saturday as they look to continue their 100% start to the season.

Bremen vs Augsburg – BTTS Yes @ 1.57

Both teams matches have full of goals and what better combination than the two meeting, both teams have also struggled in their first two only collectively gaining a point. Their defences have been leaky and they’ve been losing even with scoring, so I’m hoping for more of the same.

You can get Both Teams to Score – Yes @ 1.57 and I think that’s good value considering the scoring and conceding exploits of both teams. Looking back to last season, both teams had impressive goal averages with Bremen averaging just below 3 and Augsburg just below 4.

Leverkusen vs Hoffenheim – BTTS & Over 2.5 @ 1.61

Two teams that are at the front of your mind when looking for a Both Teams to Score bet face each other in what proves to be a goal fest. Both teams have started in great fashion with 4.5 & 3 goal averages respectively.

Leverkusen have started the better of the two but have arguably had an easier start as Hoffenheim lost out to top 4 competitors Frankfurt. Both teams were incredible for goals last season, with both averaging over 3.5 goals per match.

I’m expecting both to find the back of the net and @ 1.61, I like the addition of the Over 2.5 Goals market. If you were looking for a higher value bet, I’d opt for Leverkusen Win & BTTS @ 2.50.
