Scottish Football Betting: Terrors and Cove to continue bright starts

Aberdeen vs St Johnstone – Aberdeen ‘to win’ @ 1.55

Aberdeen are odds-on favourites and they look good for a win at home over St Johnstone on Saturday afternoon. Aberdeen sit 4th in the Scottish Premiership after the opening handful of games whereas St Johnston sit rock-bottom still on search of their first league win of the season.

St Johnstone are currently averaging three goals conceded a match and Aberdeen have managed to score three goals in each of their first two home games. This looks like a could be a comfortable afternoon for the Dons.

Ayr vs Dundee United – Dundee United to score 2+ goals @ 1.90

Dundee United have had an excellent start to the season, they sit top of the Scottish Championship with a 100% record. They have played four, won four, scored 14 goals and even beat local rivals Dundee 6-2 so you could say that they have been faultless.

They travel to Ayr this weekend who have also had a good start to the season and sit just behind them in second. Dundee United have scored a minimum of two goals in each game so far and I fancy them to continue that stat against Ayr as they look to romp towards a return to the Scottish Premiership.

Montrose vs East Fife – East Fife ‘Draw no Bet’ @ 1.57

Montrose vs East Fife is a top vs bottom meeting in the Scottish League One. East Fife are top of the pile and they look like great value this weekend for the win at 2.10, but I am going to suggest the slightly safer option of draw no bet at 1.57.

East Fife are unbeaten and have taken 11 points from their opening five games, and Montrose have lost four of their first five games and are still looking for their first three points. Montrose have played two and lost two at home so far and East Fife look good to make that a hat-trick.

Brechin vs Cove Rangers – Cove Rangers ‘to win’ @ 1.50

Brechin vs Cove Rangers is a meeting between two sides with one being very good and the other being very bad. Cove are the good side as they lead the way in League Two, taking an impressive 13 points from a possible 15. Brechin sit second bottom and have lost four of their opening five matches.

Cove had nearly been beating everyone in their path and they have been scoring goals for fun, scoring at least two goals in each game. They should have no problem beating Brechin who have played two at home, lost both and have failed to score a goal.

Queen’s Park vs Albion Rovers – Queen’s Park ‘No Clean Sheet’ @ 1.44

Queen’s Park vs Albion Rovers should be a competitive match up and one that is hard to predict. One thing I can tell you though is that Albion Rovers are always involved with the goals. They average the second highest in the league at 4.40 goals a game and there has been 22 goals scored across their opening five fixtures.

I think there is good value in Albion finding the back of the net this weekend as they scored three goals in their first away fixture at Stenhousemuir before scoring twice in their second at Annan.
