New York City FC vs San Jose Earthquakes – NYCFC ‘to win’ @ 1.95
San Jose Earthquakes face a gruelling bit of travelling this weekend as they take the cross-country flight from San Jose, California to New York which nearly reaches 3,000 miles in total.
NYCFC are in great form and they should be able to take advantage of San Jose who could be tired when they arrive at Yankee Stadium on Saturday afternoon. New York City are unbeaten in their last six matches, winning five of them. They have also lost just once at home in 2019 and I can’t see them being beaten by the Earthquakes on home turf. An NYCFC win at just under evens looks like a solid bet.
Atlanta United vs Columbus Crew – Atlanta United ‘to win & over 1.5 goals’ @ 1.44
An Atlanta United win looks like a formality here as their form at the Mercedes-Benz Stadium is terrific. The Five Stripes have won 10 of their last 11 at home and during that run they kept an impressive eight clean sheets.
Atlanta United were beaten in their last match against the Philadelphia Union but they are now returning after a two week break where they will have been able to recuperate. Atlanta have won seven of their last eight home matches with there being two or more goals in the game. Atlanta to win and over 1.5 goals looks like a certainty and it is priced at 1.44.
Montreal Impact vs FC Cincinnati – Montreal Impact ‘to win & over 1.5 goals’ @ 1.72
Every single week, the banker in Major League Soccer is whoever is coming up against FC Cincinnati. Cincy have had a tough time since their expansion, and they sit bottom of the pile having lost eight of their last nine matches.
They travel to Canada this weekend to face Montreal Impact and this will probably be another heavy beating for them. They have conceded 15 goals in their last four matches and seven in their last three away from home.
Orlando City vs New England Revolution – Orlando City ‘Draw no bet’ @ 1.57
Orlando City vs New England Revolution is a huge match in the race for the playoffs in the Eastern Conference. New England currently occupy the final play off spot in 7th, and Orlando sit just two points behind them.
Orlando need a win, so I think draw no bet is a decent looking selection at 1.57. The Revs aren’t in great form as they have won just once in their last six matches. Orlando picked up a solid result last time out as they drew with LAFC so they will be looking to go one better this weekend and secure a huge victory.
Toronto FC vs Colorado Rapids – Toronto FC ‘to win & over 1.5 goals @ 1.50
Colorado Rapids are in quite decent form as they have won their last three matches in succession whilst only conceding one goal. They will cross the border into Canada this weekend as they face Eastern Conference side Toronto FC.
Toronto are in good form and are currently unbeaten in their last six in MLS. Their last three matches have been away from home so they will be looking forward to returning to BMO Field this weekend. Toronto have only failed to score once in their last 23 at home, so they should have no issue finding one or two goals against Colorado.
The Rapids did win their last match away from home as they beat the New York Red Bulls 2-0. However, despite that, they’re still notoriously bad on their travels. Before that win over the Red Bulls, they had only won once in their previous 14 attempts on the road.
