Ajax vs Heernveen – Hakim Ziyech to score anytime @ 1.66
As expected, Ajax have been right in amongst the goals so far this season. Their games have seen an average of 4.8 goals per game so far, the highest in the league by a considerable margin. They’ve scored 15 goals in their four matches so far, with 13 of those coming in their last three. Off those last three matches, Hakim Ziyech has netted four times in them. The Moroccan playmaker hasn’t looked back since committing his future to the champions. I can see Ajax putting on another fine display and as arguably the league’s most technically gifted player I expect Ziyech to be involved in any potential goal glut.
PSV vs Vitesse – Both teams to score @ 1.61
What a clash this looks to be. Two unbeaten sides going toe to toe in a mouth-watering clash that looks certain to promise goals.
PSV have conceded in three of their four matches so far this campaign and that includes conceding to the likes of RKC Waalwijk and Den Haag. Vitesse currently top the table and have been very impressive thus far, they’ve conceded in both of their last two fixtures and often look more vulnerable on the road. I can’t see either side holding back in this one.
Fortuna Sittard vs FC Twente – FC Twente draw no bet @ 1.66
Twente remain unbeaten after their promotion to the top flight and have erned a lot of plaudits, deservedly so. Last time out they comfortably beat a strong Utrecht side, now they come up against a Sittard side who are yet to record a victory this campaign.
Twente have been fond of finding the net so far too, scoring 10 goals in their five matches. I can see them causing some real issues against a frail Fortuna defence, who have shipped nine goals in their four matches this season.
PEC Zwolle vs RKC – PEC Zwolle to win @ 1.57
Zwolle have been far from special this season, but recent signs have been that of improvement. A win last week away at Emmen was proceeded by an impressive draw against Sparta. They now face the whipping boys of the league so far – RKC Waalwijk. The Eredivisie new boys sit bottom with just one point and a minus nine goal difference already. Zwolle will have this marked out as a real opportunity for three points and their first home win of the season.
Feyenoord vs Den Haag – Feyenoord to be win HT/FT @ 1.66
On the face of it, you’d say Den Haag are improving this season. They’ve managed back to back wins after a run of three straight losses. However they beat RKC before narrowly squeezing past VVV Venlo in a game they really should’ve lost. I can see Feyenoord bringing them right back down to earth this weekend. I think Feyenoord were held back by their focus on the Europa League in the early stages of the season, I’m expecting their true colours to finally show in the Eredivisie this season and we can see more of what we expect from an immensely talented squad.
