Fortuna Sittard vs Sparta Rotterdam – Sparta draw no bet @ 1.4
Sittard’s recent woes continued in midweek as they were battered 5-0 by Ajax. What will hurt more was their weekend capitulation against Vitesse. They led twice but still ended up losing 4-2, despite leading with five minutes to go.
After to tough fixtures against Ajax and Az Alkmaar, Sparta got back to winning ways as they smashed RKC Waawijk 4-0. Only Ajax and PSV have now scored more goals than the newly promoted Rotterdam club, I think they look great value to get another good result in this one.
RKC vs Vitesse – Vitesse to win @ 1.53
Vitesse spared some potential blushes as they came out on top against Sittard last week, they now travel to the league’s whipping boys – RKC Waalwijk.
RKC have now conceded 24 goals in just seven Eredivisie matches and are yet to win a game, with six of their seven matches ending in defeat. The strength in attack that Vitesse have should be more than enough to carry them through this game as they look to close the gap and move back in to the top three.
FC Utrecht vs Willem II – Both teams to score @ 1.6
Utrecht have been quite the source of entertainment so far this season, with both teams scoring in every one of their games so far. Their games have seen an average of 3.57 goals in each. Willem II have seen an average of three goals per game with both teams scoring in 60% of their matches. They’ve manage just one clean sheet so far and it looks likely to rain goals in this contest.
PEC Zwolle vs PSV – PSV to win @ 1.4
Zwolle’s upturn in fortune came to a shuddering halt last week as they were comfortably beaten by Groningen. Groningen were then beaten in midweek by PSV who travel to Zwolle still level on points with Ajax at the league summit.
PSV will be desperate not to slip up, especially with Ajax hosting Groningen in what should be another routine victory. PSV have impressed greatly defensively as well as going forward, they should take maximum points from this one to keep up their momentum.
Feyenoord vs FC Twente – Both teams to score @ 1.61
Feyenoord continue to leak goals. They conceded another three in midweek to Az, meaning they have still only managed one clean sheet this season. Twente also have just one clean sheet and the second highest both teams to score percentage in the league at 86%, with Feyenoord’s sitting at 71% this looks like an absolute banker. I’ve enjoyed watching Twente this season, they’re superb going forward but all at sea at the back. With Feyenoord enduring some real turbulence I can see Twente coming out and playing for the win, the only way they know how – all out attack.
