With the domestic season fast approaching, Bet365 have announced a mouth-watering offer, which will wet the appetites of many people attempting to land an elusive outright ante-post bet. If this offer was available last season, a total of four leagues would have paid out, as Celtic, PSG, Juventus and Barcelona all had a ten-point lead at some point during the season.
It may sound like quite a large lead at any point during the season, however as I’ve stated four of Europe’s major leagues would have benefitted from this offer regardless of their final position. First off, it’s a good idea to familiarise yourself with the T&C’s surrounding this offer and make sure you know what leagues are included in this offer. It’s available up until the 13th of September and is available to both new and existing customers.
The offer itself makes Bet365 more lucrative from an ante-post perspective and I’d like to run through some possible bets which could take advantage of this. There are some obvious ones that obviously jump out to you such as:
The Glaswegian club have won the last eight league titles and they’re a shoe in to win it again at 1.33. However, this season will be their toughest season yet, as they struggle with management after losing Brendan Rodgers to Leicester coupled up with Steven Gerrard’s resurgence of Rangers. Putting this aside, they will be featuring in a lot of ante-post accumulators this season and a lot of users could benefit from this offer if they’re as dominant as they’ve been in recent seasons.
Another team who have completely dominated their domestic league, winning six of the last seven campaigns. Even with the controversy surrounding one of their star players Neymar, they’ll still have more than enough firepower to get the job done again this season. At the short price of 1.14, I can’t imagine they’ll be at the top of many people’s ante-post selections, but they could be a nice little boost especially with this offer kicking in. Considering they won the league by 16 points this season, you’d expect pretty similar this season as Thomas Tuchel will look to build on last season.
If you’re looking to get a bit more value out of your picks for this ante-post offer, this team would be my recommendation:
The star studded Turin based outfit will be going into the season priced up at 1.50 and I think this provides some great value for a team who are miles ahead of the rest of Serie A. With their summer signings of Mathijs De Ligt, Adrien Rabiot and Aaron Ramsey, the Old Lady will be a formidable force across Europe and not just in their own league. As I
mentioned earlier, they were another team who would have benefitted from this offer last season and I’d expect them to do the same again.
With the mercurial Cristiano Ronaldo firing on all cylinders and a manager in Maurizio Sarri, who knows this league and the style of football inside out, they really shouldn’t have a problem securing the league title for the ninth consecutive time. They won the league by 11 points last season, but that also included them taking their foot off the gas in the last quarter of the season once they’d confirmed themselves as champions.
If you’re looking for a bit of value and hoping to take advantage of this great offer, then I’d be tempted to have a punt on:
The English League One side stumbled at the final hurdle last season by losing to Charlton in the playoff final in a very cruel manner. Following a great summer of business, with not many players going out the door the other way, I’m fully expecting them to be a major contender for promotion and the League One title. Usually you’d expect the relegated teams from the Championship but following the drama at Bolton & Ipswich last season, I’d expecting jagged seasons from them. There are a few teams that worry me with contending the title, they include Portsmouth & Peterborough, both have recruited well and will push next season.
I just couldn’t pass up on Sunderland winning the league at 4.50, given their recruitment and the quality already in their squad, they’ll definitely be challenging for the title come April/May.
