Red cards, missed penalties (bloody Liam Donnelly), goals and incidents galore. It’s safe to say the Scottish Premiership picked up from exactly where it left off in the opening weekend of the new season. I’m back with my second Scottish Premiership acca of the campaign and I fancy this one to go one better than last weekend’s. Had Donnelly not forgotten how to take a penalty over the summer, I’d have landed my opening acca, but the Northern Irishman contrived to drill his penalty wide. Still, it was a good, well-researched acca and there’s not much you can do about a penalty as bad as the Motherwell midfielder’s strike on Monday night.
Following the postponement of the Aberdeen game, I’ve gone for a five-fold this week, so, have a read of my five selections and feel free to tweak or drop any leg as I detail exactly why each pick has caught my eye below.
